I don't install anything sketchy on my new computer, and pirated games tend to fall in the sketchy category lol. To clarify, I haven't played in a year or so, and haven't even turned on the computer it is in in nearly that long. At the time, I was interested in a game of this type, and had I been able to find a trial version or they had a viable return policy if I found the game to be poor, I would have definitely went that route. I completely agree, piracy is not a victimless crime, and is a probable cause to publisher/developer issues such as we see here. Would I be better of buying this, or waiting a month for Mud Runner? Are there even servers out there where people play like so? I was significantly dissapointed when I bought Assetto Corsa, after playing rFactor for years, to find a limited number of modded drift servers, and I would hate to have a similar experience here.ДЄfter all this chaos amongst this title, I'm beginning to think maintaining my pirated copy and just playing alone would be better off. I know this game already has a lot of mod support and existing fan base and servers. Ultimately, I'd like to play online with friends a 4x4/Rock Crawling/Trail Driving Simulator. After all, getting stuck and not having a friend in the area sucks.ДЄfter nearly buying this, and finding out about MudRunner, a few questions have arised. I've played an 'acquired' version of this game for countless hours in the past, exploring new maps in my 4x4 rigs, and I have become interested in playing multiplayer to add to the experience. Still only worth modding and rock crawling with mates. I've come to understand that Oovee has siezed to update this game, and the developer has moved to a new publisher, releasing an *updated?* version of this game? All in all, seems like the same damn game to me.
